Bryan Conklin is a veteran in the energy and rapid growth solar industries. His industry expertise is complimented by several years in management consulting and strategic marketing roles. Bryan has held numerous senior roles in the solar industry, including Vice President of Business Development for Mainstreet Power which was acquired by AES Corporation; the Vice President of Marketing for RGS Energy (formerly Real Goods Solar) where he managed marketing and business development activities for the organization; as the Sr. Director of Marketing and member of the senior executive team at Mainstream Energy where he managed marketing and corporate development activities for the Mainstream Energy group of companies – including REC Solar, AEE Solar, and SnapNrack; and as the Director of Marketing for BP Solar North America where he was intimately involved in developing and marketing products and solutions to the residential, commercial, homebuilder, and utility markets.
Prior to entering the solar industry, Bryan worked several years consulting with Accenture’s Strategic Services practice - both domestically and internationally, and was the Group Director of Strategy for AGENCY.COM an internet consulting firm that subsequently went public on NASDAQ. In addition to these roles, Bryan has held numerous marketing and strategy roles with Fortune 500 companies and startups across numerous industries.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rutgers University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, and has continued his marketing and strategy education through executive curriculums at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business. When not working, Bryan is an avid sailor, snowboarder, mountain biker, hiker and aspiring gourmet chef.
