Edward is an entrepreneurial leader with strong software development and go-to-market experience in both enterprise and consumer internet markets. An innovative thinker with more than fifteen issued patents, he is currently the President of NMR Capital, a family office he runs from Austin, TX. In his previous role, he led the Platform business at MapMyFitness, the largest social fitness network, prior to its acquisition by Under Armour. Prior to joining MapMyFitness, he was the VP of Business Development at Uber, one of the fastest growing technology companies of the decade. While at Uber, he closed strategic deals with organizations such as the NFL Players Association, Facebook, Google, Virgin America, PayPal and American Express. In previous roles Edward led the Business Development team at Citrix that managed the company's half billion dollar strategic relationship with Microsoft while growing a new joint GTM to $100M in less than two years. In 2000, he founded United Devices, where he raised more than $40M in venture capital for the company and was personally named a Bio-IT World Champion in 2002 and a Computer World' Laureate in the category of Medicine in 2004 . The company was acquired by Univa in 2007. Earlier in his career, he played pivotal roles in a number of initiatives for the CTO of Dell as well as Dell's executive team and also held various engineering, marketing and management positions at Intel, Microsoft and IBM.
